Using online and classroom instruction, this class covers the essential information expectant parents should know to prepare for the birth of their baby. The online class, titled Understanding Birth, includes information, videos, activities, and resources about pregnancy, labor, childbirth, comfort techniques, caesarean section, medical procedures, newborns, and postpartum care. In the classroom, practice comfort techniques including relaxation and breathing patterns. A free 30 minute Birthing Center Tour is included.

To register for the online class only, see Understanding Birth: An Online Class.  The online portion does not include classroom time, and a birthing center tour must be scheduled separately.
