Infant Care 2019
New Format as of May 2019: Using online and classroom instruction, you will learn how to care for a newborn. The eClass Understanding Your Newborn includes nine chapters of detailed learning about your newborn's appearance, feeding, sleeping, crying, signs of illness, daily care and safety. The eClass will be available to you for 9 months from the date of eClass registration. In addition, a 2-hour, hands-on interactive practice in the classroom with group discussion will enhance your learning. Review eClass before attending the classroom.
Classroom Location: The classroom section will be held at Howard County General Hospital in the Medical Library. Enter at the main entrance and proceed to the Information Desk. You will be given a wristband and directed to a location where your instructor will greet you.
A $35 fee for the online portion of this class is non-refundable for any reason.
Class is registered per couple. Register for a class that ends approximately 6 to 8 weeks prior to your due date.
