Infant and Toddler Safety, Childproofing and CPR
Learn about car and sleep safety, childproofing/injury prevention, consumer-product safety, and emergency preparedness. Discover useful community resources for parents. View a demonstration of infant CPR and chokingresponse techniques. Recommended for parents, grandparents, and other caregivers of babies and children up to 4 years old. This course is taught at an adult-level and is not a certification course. Please do not bring your baby to an in-person session.
In-Person and Virtual Format Options: As physical distancing guidelines change, the format of this class is also subject to change. Please make sure that you are registering for the format that you prefer--either virtually via Zoom or in-person at the Little Patuxent Specialty Center.
In-Person at the Little Patuxent Specialty Center:
1. Participants must wear a mask inside the building and throughout class.
2. Arrive 10 minutes before the start of class. Your instructor will greet you and let you in the building. If you arrive after the class start time, you will not have access into the building and must reschedule the class. (1 time reschedule).
3. No food or drink are allowed in the classroom. If you need to take a break, you may drink or eat in the hallway outside the classroom.
4. Please do not leave the building until class ends. The door to the outside automatically locks and you will not be able to get back inside.
Registration and Cost: Registration and cost are per couple. Only one name will appear on the confirmation email but the second person's name will appear on our roster. Register only once.
Insurance: Submitting reimbursement is between you and your insurance provider. Your email confirmation is your receipt and the only documentation that will be provided.

New Mom's Support Group: Join this free, virtual via Zoom group to share experiences and discuss parenting topics with mothers of other babies up to 5 months old.
