Just as CPR teaches you to provide support in a medical crisis, Mental Health First Aid teaches you to identify, understand, and respond to signs of a mental illness crisis.

PLEASE NOTE LOCATION: April 19 class will be held in the HCGH Wellness Center.  The June 7 class will be held in the Howard County General Hospital, Pavilion 1 Classroom.

The six-week workshop  is for those living with or at risk for a chronic condition such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, depression, chronic pain, arthritis, lung disease and any other health concerns.  

NEW format: Family & Friends CPR teaches the lifesaving skills of Adult hands only CPR; Child CPR with breaths; Adult and Child AED use; Infant CPR; and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. 
Prepare for the birth of your baby with gentle and safe movements to stretch, strengthen, and relax your body. This is an 8-week session held at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia.
