Healthy Weight Connection

Weight no more! Kick-start individual lifestyle changes, including diet and exercise, to help you reach a healthier weight. Receive personalized dietary guidance by a registered dietitian. Class meets twice a week for eight weeks: Tuesdays to learn about a feature topic in nutrition and Thursdays to participate in gentle yoga. This class is for adults 18 years and older. No class on October 13.

Topics will include the mind-body connection, mood and food, tools and tips for eating healthier, individualizing your own lifestyle plan, exploring various cultural cooking styles, how to choose produce, and the joy of spices. Participants will be required to weigh in each week and keep a food and exercise journal. This class is for adults 18 years and older.
